Tuhaye is a gated community of homes and building parcels surrounding a golf course designed by PGA golf professional Mark O’Meara. The all bent grass golf course overlooks the Jordanelle Reservoir and the back side of the Deer Valley ski area. Owning property at Tuhaye gives one the opportunity to join the Talisker Club which allows access to amenities in Empire Pass/Deer Valley. World-renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern designed the social epicenter of Tuhaye, the Talisker Club Park; a year-round amenity where members enjoy a pool with water slide, hot tubs, kids cabin, tennis courts, and interweaving outdoor spaces. Future plans include a new family-gathering spot, Moondance Park. It will be a year-round resort-park setting with an entertainment pavilion, picnic and park seating, playgrounds, volleyball courts, junior soccer field, zip line, doggie park and basketball court. For winter activities there will be an ice rink, warming hut and fire pits.
The Town of Hideout was established in 2008 and encompasses approximately 2,500 acres. It borders the eastern shores of the Jordanelle Reservoir and boasts breathtaking views of Deer Valley and the Wasatch Mountains. Hideout consists of condominiums, townhomes and homes, including Reflection Ridge the only gated community within Hideout Canyon. Soaring Hawk, is comprised of 154 hillside homesites across Highway 40. Additionally, the Soaring Hawk developer offers home designs ranging from 2,200 – 3,500 square feet. The nine-hole Outlaw Golf Course at Hideout Canyon is not private and open to the public.
