Just 10 minutes east of Park City, you’ll find the lovely Kamas Valley, which is home to several towns and is a growing real estate market. The Uinta Mountains are to the east, the Wasatch Mountains to the west, the Provo River on the south, and the Weber River to the north. Beaver Creek, a tributary of the Weber, traverses the center of the city.
The town of Kamas maintains a small town feel and is the hub of the valley. Beautiful and filled with some truly incredible properties and condos, it is home to many well-established neighborhoods including Marion and other lovely smaller communities and new housing developments.
Kamas is considered the gateway to the Uintas and the Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest with access via the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. The Uintas are a rare east-west oriented mountain range containing Utah’s highest peaks and over a thousand small, glacial lakes popular with anglers, outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
